Quality Web Design
Take a look at some designs I think are good on the eyes.

Garrett Dimon
Just the text, ma’am, and without being boring! I love it! (See also: Signal vs. Noise ) - Asterisk
This new design reminds me of the National Park Service’s print design. That easy menu at the top is what I like most about it. (See also: subtraction ) - Coudal Partners
Something Subtraction does, but that Asterisk improves upon is the (variable?) image at the top of the page. Looks great, rocks hard! But nobody’s gonna beat the way Coudal Partners gives you that punchy picture on the page, all while making the thing look a little bit like a newspaper, which is a creative approach, I thought. -

Another example of a simple navbar at the top. The colors help divide the content into easy sections. - 37Signals Manifesto
I love this for it’s similarity to the old print convention, the table of contents. I want one of those. - Apple Pro
I already mentioned this site for its structure, but I also like it for its similarity to another old print convention the “cover page” which is something I find to be painfully absent from blogs, and so I want one of those too. I gotta say though, that I hate the “tabs”.
