Amalgamation was an experimental event, intended to explore new and creative combinations of words, sounds and images.
It was held at the short-lived, but interesting “Larynx” space, next to the Annex Theater in Baltimore, on May 23, 2009. I performed a piece about being a cave-man, as well as an excerpt from “Street Preacher”. The spoken word performances that evening were accompanied by video overlays by Guy Werner, from the Metro Gallery. The other spoken word performers included Shiland Township and Keri Anne Griffith..
