There is a bourgening creative collective in Baltimore, known as “Artist Compound”. Artist Compound hosted an event at the Glass Grill. I was a featured spoken word performer.
The theme of the evening was “Real Love-the Essence of Life,” in honor of Valentines Day. It is not a theme I am accustomed to so I read love poetry, Shakespearian sonnets, lyrics from songs about heartbreak, that sort of thing. The evening also included an exhibition of paintings, music and dancing.
