“To Win, Simply Play” v1.1 beta

After a long summer vacation, I give you “To Win, Simply Play.” I have made a new version of the hypertext novella I submitted for my undergraduate senior thesis.

• the links are fixed.
• I gave the html a complete overhaul, now that I understand how to make html without the interferance of a certain Word processor.
• Hopefully, the new, cleaner code will mean that future versions will be easier to create.
• There have been some minor cosmetic changes, as well.
• I have written a new introduction
• Now that I’m no longer working on this under the auspices of my professor, I’m no longer confined to paper.

What’s next?

• Shorter, more consice sections of the story
• Links will be words within the story, rather than end matters
• Address (maybe not resolve) this reader comment: “It doesn’t follow that the things that follow, should follow. Do you follow?”
• Make the thing available for download
• Write a stylesheet enabling other devices: handhelds, etc. as readers.
• breadcrumbs?
• Seperate pages for each section? Or do readers like the scrolling?
• Levels?
