A Writer’s Artist Statement

As a writer, it was an interesting challenge for me, when an editor asked me to write an artist statement. As the name implies, artist statements are typically for (visual) artists who sometimes struggle to write artist statements. Ekphrasis is difficult. It was an honor for me when, about a year later, my artist statement was published on the Extreme Writing Community blog. The Extreme Writing Community is dedicated to experimental poetry and other artistic disciplines on the fringe. The community’s posts are written in Ukrainian and English.
